1. PCAA Specially Called Constituency Meeting: PCAA School Board invites all Constituency delegates to attend a specially called meeting on Monday, June 24 @ 6:30 pm.  Agenda Items:  A) Temporary Satellite School B) Sale of Portables  C) 2024/25 Draft Operations Budget. 2. MARK YOUR CALENDARS: PCAA will hold its Grade 12 graduation on Thursday, June 20^th, 2024, 6:00 pm at the Henderson Highway SDA Church, 1314 Henderson Hwy. Please include our graduatesin your prayers.

3. MB/SK CONFERENCE EMPLOYMENT - TEACHERS: Position details listed on the SDACC Education website https://education.adventist.ca/employment/jobopenings/.  Select Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference.

4. PCAA TEACHER'S ASSISTANT - Accepting applications for a Teacher’s Assistant (1-year term position until June 2025). Ideal candidate is a practising Seventh-day Adventist who is a motivated self-starter, caring, patient and safe with children. Possess a Para-professional certificate and/or have experience working with students with diverse learning needs. Email resume/cover letter to PCAA, Attention: Dr. Ian Mighty, Principal, - imighty@pcaa.ca. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.

5. PCAA SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS - Accepting applications for Substitute Teachers to cover short-term absences. While this a casual/on-call role, incumbents can set their own schedule, gain experience in the classroom and contribute to our growing community of learners.  You are a Seventh-day Adventist who can assume the duties/responsibilities of a classroom teacher; follow lesson plans, manage a classroom, and maintain a positive learning environment.  Email resume/cover letter to PCAA, Attention: Dr. Ian Mighty, Principal, - imighty@pcaa.ca. CHRIST-LIKE TEACHERS

In the education process, the single most important factor in students’ learning is the teacher. Curriculum is second. Prairie Central Adventist Academy offers the best of both. Christian teachers are the most loving and self-sacrificing people you will find. They have turned down higher pay and more benefits to teach in Christian schools. Why? Because they view their gift of teaching as a ministry to serve the body of Christ. Their excellence is proven out by their students’ testing scores. Time and time again, standardized test scores show that students in private Christian education far outpace their counterparts in public schools. Christian schools also offer more instruction time, cover more material, and provide one-on-one attention when needed. The small class size means our certified teachers not only get to know and build relationships with their students, but also with their students’ parents. This enables the teachers and parents to work together as a team. When one of them has a problem with the child, the other reinforces and supports what the other had said. Los maestros cristianos son las personas más amorosas y abnegadas que encontrarás. Han rechazado salarios más altos y más beneficios para enseñar en escuelas cristianas. ¿Por qué? Porque ven su don de enseñanza como un ministerio para servir al cuerpo de Cristo. Su excelencia queda demostrada por los puntajes de las pruebas de sus estudiantes.
